Job Description


Healing Arts Veterinary Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our growing team!

This is an excellent opportunity for Veterinary Technicians who are excited to fully utilize their technical skills in both surgery and outpatient care while building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets in a collaborative, supportive environment.

In this role, you will:
  • Assist with patient preparation, anesthesia support, and recovery during surgical and dental procedures
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records to support high-quality patient care
  • Support exam room workflow through outpatient care, patient handling, and appointment preparation
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients by checking in appointments, reviewing treatment plans, providing discharge instructions, and answering questions
  • Anticipate the needs of doctors and teammates to help maintain an efficient schedule and smooth daily operations while upholding the highest standards of patient care

This position is ideal for Veterinary Technicians who enjoy hands-on patient care, client interaction, and being a valued member of a team-oriented, fast-growing practice .

Schedule:
This is a flexible, full-time position , with availability needed Monday-Saturday .

Full-time benefits and compensation**:
  • Compensation: $18-20 per hour, for each hour worked*
  • Bonus: $500 for candidates with 3+ years of consecutive and current veterinary experience

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
  • 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
  • Proficiency in:
    • Radiology
    • Phlebotomy and laboratory sample collection
    • SC, IM, and IV injections
    • Inpatient care and anesthesia monitoring/recovery
    • Obtaining vitals and patient histories
    • Client communication and education
    • Animal restraint
    • Dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs
    • Microscope evaluation
