Registered Veterinary Technician

The Pet Wellness Clinic in Fort Collins, CO is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate, collaborative team!

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled, outgoing RVT who wants to fully utilize their education and technical expertise while building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets.

In this role, you will:

• Provide exceptional patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation and recovery, and performing dental cleanings and dental radiographs.
• Support efficient exam room flow while delivering outstanding client education and communication.
• Review treatment plans, provide thorough discharge instructions, and confidently address client questions with empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate closely with veterinarians and support staff during outpatient visits, ensuring accurate execution of doctor orders and the highest standard of patient care.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented Registered Veterinary Technician who is passionate about delivering excellent patient and client care and is eager to work at the top of their license in a supportive, team-driven environment.

This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday.

• Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour, for each hour worked*

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 5+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Colorado
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Client communication
  • Anesthesia induction and monitoring
  • Dental prophy
  • IVC placement
  • Outpatient care
