Dentist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant and team player to join our team ASAP  Mon-Thursday (full time aprox 35 hours.)

• Previous experience in dental assisting is required
• Take (X-rays) as required. (YOU NEED TO HAVE A RADIOLOGY LICENSE)

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
• Take (X-rays) as required. (YOU NEED TO HAVE A RADIOLOGY LICENSE)
• Record and manage patient medical histories, vital signs, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
• Operate dental equipment, including 3D scanners, CBCT scanning, NG scanning, and assist with office demands as needed
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.

Experience

• Previous experience in dental assisting is required
• Strong knowledge with Dexis and Dentrix
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
