GENERAL PURPOSE
The Treasury Analyst plays a key role in managing the organization's liquidity, cash flow, banking activities, and debt. This position supports daytoday treasury operations, analyzes financial data, maintains accurate accounting records and provides reporting for these activities. This position is responsible for updating procedures and controls and resolving problems and issues that arise related to cash management. The Treasury Analyst also works with bank service providers and completes various treasury projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Cash & Liquidity Management
    • Monitor daily cash positions and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
    • Execute cash transfers, payments, and funding activities.
    • Maintain and optimize the company's cash concentration structures.
    • Work with cross -functional areas (A/P, A/R, G/L, IT, Payroll etc.) to assist with implementing improvements in payable/disbursement and receivable/collection methods and processes.
    • Prepare and review all journal entries for cash, debt, and investment transactions.
    • Update the Cash Model with Actuals to be used to target cash and debt positions.
  • Banking & Treasury Operations
    • Maintain relationships with banking partners and assist with account setup, maintenance, and documentation.
    • Monitor bank fees and evaluate opportunities for optimization.
    • Serve as banking system administrator and assure utilization of current technological advances.
    • Review bank reconciliations and assist with problem resolution.
  • Compliance & Controls
    • Ensure treasury processes uphold internal controls and meet audit requirements.
    • Maintain compliance with corporate policies, SOX controls (if applicable), and regulatory standards.
    • Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking (adjustable based on level).

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong Programming skills and PC skills in Excel, Word, and related Programs.
  • Understanding of cash flow, financial instruments, and banking processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Knowledge of banking systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of LN, Oracle, A/P and A/R systems and their functions.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be self-directed and work independently as well as with a group
