Orthodontic Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant for temporary / per-diem coverage in a fast-paced, patient-focused orthodontic practice. This role is ideal for an assistant with hands-on orthodontic experience who can step in confidently and support the clinical team with minimal training.

• Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments
• Perform orthodontic procedures including:
• • Wire changes and removals
  • Bracket placement assistance
  • Elastic instructions and patient education
  • Taking orthodontic records (photos, scans, X-rays if applicable)
• Prepare and break down operatories between patients
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
• Ensure a positive, calm, and professional patient experience
• Support efficient patient flow during a busy schedule

Compensation:

• $32-$40/hour
