What you will be doing:

The HR Business Consultant (HRBC) will work primarily with Supply Chain managers of associates for a business unit and become a valued contributor by managing the delivery of our HR policies, executing business specific projects and initiatives relating to people, and demonstrating leadership in human resources decisions, procedures, and programs. Acting as a consultant, the HRBC will provide support for management teams and associates by answering non-routine requests for information on policy interpretation, providing advice and counsel on employee issues with emphasis on people management, and implementing practices and programs in support of the HR and business strategy. The HRBC will be responsible for designated projects, helping to develop procedures and programs to support HR and business priorities, as well as compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects. The focus of this role is on tactical and execution activities, and this person should be recognized as an HR resource and subject matter expert.

What You Bring to the Table:

Were looking for someone with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, effective verbal and written communication, and the ability to build trusting relationships that foster collaboration and drive results. You should be comfortable navigating organizational complexities, guiding Supply Chain teams through change, and facilitating solutions within a diverse and innovative culture.

Championing and driving key HR programs and objectives, this role encompasses workforce planning by recommending staffing actions and collaborating with managers on restructuring, as well as partnering with Global Talent Management to deliver training solutions that address skill, knowledge, and leadership gaps. Additional responsibilities include providing thought leadership and project support for talent management initiatives, facilitating relevant training sessions, and advising leaders on workplace trends to enhance associate engagement. The position also involves understanding associate needs through focus groups and exit interviews to promote satisfaction, fostering an inclusive culture, and maintaining a union-free environment.

Whats needed: Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, Business, equivalent work experience
  • Proven expertise in HR policies, procedures, and practices
  • Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in HR, Business, or related discipline
  • Experience in a Supply Chain environment
  • HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
  • Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations
  • Background working in global or multi-site environments

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, or other forms of variable compensation.
