What We Need: We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team. As a Project Coordinator, you will manage assigned project orders from opportunity win through project completion, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience. This role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and an intense focus on both internal and external stakeholders. You will serve as a trusted point of contact for dealers and internal partners, communicating proactively throughout the project lifecycle to keep work moving forward and expectations aligned. What You Will Do:
  • Manage assigned customer projects from order receipt through delivery, closeout, and follow-up.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for dealers, securing ship dates and delivery schedules while responding to questions and concerns.
  • Track project timelines, shipping milestones, and commitments to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Coordinate resources and partner closely with Customer Support, Sales, Supply Chain, and Transportation teams.
  • Proactively communicate project updates and drive rapid resolution of issues that may impact project success.
  • Balance internal priorities with customer needs to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate project and order data in Salesforce and Oracle.
  • Support team coverage needs, including shared workload responsibilities and queue support.
What You Have:
  • Associates Degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of customer-facing experience with demonstrated success supporting customers.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or order management environment is a plus.
  • Prior experience with Oracle and Salesforce is strongly preferred.
