ValidaTek is seeking a Microsoft Testing Migration Support Engineer Mid to support a large-scale enterprise endpoint migration from an on-premises Windows 11 environment to a Microsoft Intunemanaged Azure AD environment. This role supports advanced troubleshooting and structured testing activities across imaging, enrollment, application deployment, and policy enforcement throughout the migration lifecycle.The Microsoft Testing Migration Support Engineer Mid will support migration pilots and production waves by executing validation activities, troubleshooting escalated issues, and confirming fixes under the guidance of senior engineers and SMEs. This role serves as a key quality support function, ensuring migration processes operate as designed before and during the large-scale rollout.
ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will have direct experience in the following areas:
Provide Tier 3 support for Intune migration pilots and production waves. Execute testing and validation of MECM/MCM task sequences and wipe-and-reload workflows. Validate automated Intune enrollment and Azure AD join processes. Perform functional testing of Intune configuration profiles, compliance policies, and security baselines. Test application packaging, deployment behavior, and detection logic. Support manual enrollment and Autopilot workflows for testing and remediation scenarios. Troubleshoot escalated imaging, enrollment, application, and policy issues. Review logs from MECM/MCM, Intune, Windows, and Azure AD to assist in root cause analysis. Document test results, observed issues, and remediation outcomes. Support migration pilots, phased rollouts, and post-migration stabilization. Collaborate with senior engineers, SMEs, and service desk teams. Escalate systemic issues and improvement opportunities to engineering leads.
QualificationsActive DoD Secret Clearance, with Top Secret eligibility CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification Familiarity with DevSecOps software delivery models and Agile methodology (CMMI and ITIL exposure a plus) Microsoft certifications such as MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator Associate) or equivalent preferred BS degree and at least 46 years of enterprise Windows endpoint support or management experience. Experience can be substituted in lieu of degree Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Intune-managed environments
Hands-on experience with:o Microsoft Intuneo Azure AD / Entra IDo Windows 11
Experience testing or supporting:o Intune enrollment workflowso Azure AD join and device identityo Application deployment and basic detection logico Configuration and compliance policies
Working knowledge of MECM / MCM, including task sequences and OS deployment Working PowerShell skills for troubleshooting and validation Ability to analyze logs and diagnostics with guidance from senior staff Understanding of DoD and DISA cybersecurity requirements Must be able to travel onsite at least 3 days per week.

Posted Min Pay Rate USD $120,000.00/Yr. Posted Max Pay Rate USD $160,000.00/Yr. Salary Disclosure Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance.
