Dental Assistant

We are looking for a dependable Pediatric Dental Assistant to float between two locations as needed (Kansas City & Leavenworth). This role supports multiple clinical teams and helps maintain consistent patient care when schedules change, volumes increase, or team members are out.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in fast-paced pediatric environments, adapts quickly, and communicates well with both children and parents.

• Assist pediatric dentists during exams and procedures
• Set up and break down operatories following sterilization protocols
• Take digital radiographs and intraoral images
• Provide patient education to children and parents
• Support patient comfort and behavior management
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow infection control and safety standards
• Help keep schedules running efficiently
• Travel between two locations based on operational needs
• Support staffing coverage for vacations, sick days, and high-volume schedules
• Work collaboratively with both teams

• Dental Assistant experience
• Radiology certification required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Reliable transportation
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work at multiple locations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
