SUMMARY
The Sales Director is responsible for leading and executing the overall sales strategy for a full-service lodging property. This role focuses on driving revenue growth through new business development, account management, and implementation of strategic sales initiatives while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. The position oversees group and event-related revenue streams, manages sales performance metrics, and leads a small sales team. Responsibilities include building relationships with corporate, group, and community partners; coordinating property tours; managing client databases and contracts; and developing departmental budgets and forecasts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated experience leading sales efforts within the hospitality or lodging industry.
- Proven ability to generate and manage group, event, and related revenue streams.
- Experience working with major hospitality brand sales platforms and customer relationship management systems preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Experience managing and developing sales team members across multiple market segments.
- Ability to independently manage priorities while contributing to team objectives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional client interaction abilities.
- Willingness to maintain flexible availability to support client and business needs.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and relationship-building skills.
