Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.

36 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - Northern Light and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Northern Light.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge RN experience

Chest tubes, traches, drains, wound vacs, IVs, PCAs, Epidurals (rare), IVABX, Heparin gtts; are not required to reading and interpret cardiac strips but it is preferable

Required Credentials: Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date.

Special Requests: Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: Every other; travel pairs are allowed to work the same weekend generally

• No call

• Holiday Expectations: 2/4 as needed

Floating Requirements: May float to ICU for Med Surg level patients, May float to ED to task/as helping hands.

7 days maximum time off

2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

Driver's license required for submission
