We are part of a fast-moving Supply Chain organization helping Fortune 500 clients reinvent how they source, procure, and manage third parties. Our work sits at the intersection of operating model design, process reinvention, AI-enabled procurement, digital platforms, and cost transformation, grounded in deep industry expertise.

In the Energy industry (Upstream, Oilfield Services, Downstream), procurement plays a critical role in cost competitiveness, operational reliability, and resilience. We support clients in redesigning how work gets done, embedding AI and digital capabilities, modernizing procurement platforms, and delivering measurable cost and performance outcomes.

You are:

As a Consultant, you will support and contribute to sourcing and procurement transformation initiatives, working as part of project teams under a Manager and / or a Senior Manager guidance. You will combine industry knowledge, analytical rigor, and hands-on delivery to help clients move from strategy to execution.

The Work:

Operating Model & Organization Design

  • Support the assessment of current procurement organizations, roles, and governance models,

  • Contribute to the design of future-state procurement operating models aligned to Energy industry needs,

  • Assist in defining how human roles, AI, and intelligent agents interact across procurement activities.

Process Reinvention & Digital Enablement

  • Analyze and document sourcing and procurement processes to identify efficiency, automation, and AI opportunities.

  • Support the redesign of digital-first procurement processes across category management, sourcing, contracting, buying, and supplier management.

  • Contribute to procurement technology enablement efforts (e.g., S2P platforms, workflow orchestration, analytics).

Sourcing, Cost & Value Delivery

  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives and cost take-out programs across Energy-specific categories.

  • Conduct spend analysis, market assessments, and supplier benchmarking.

  • Support supplier negotiations, RFx processes, and contract development activities.

Data, Insights & Performance

  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities, performance gaps, and operational bottlenecks.

  • Support the definition and tracking of procurement KPIs and 360 value realization metrics.

  • Prepare insights, dashboards, and client-ready materials to support decision-making.

Client Delivery & Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Managers and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into structured analyses and deliverables.

  • Contribute to the development of client presentations, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps.

  • Support change management and capability-building activities to enable adoption of new processes and tools.

Qualification

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Operations.

  • Minimum 1 year Energy industry experience (Upstream, OFS, and/or Downstream), gained through consulting or relevant industry roles.

  • Exposure to consulting or project-based delivery environments.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have a minimum of 6 years' work experience)

Bonus Points If:

  • Experience supporting procurement transformations or cost reduction initiatives.

  • Exposure to procurement technology solutions (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa).

  • Experience with data analytics, automation, or AI-enabled use cases in procurement.

  • Foundational understanding of sourcing, procurement processes, and supply chain concepts.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (Verbal and written)

  • Prior experience working with or for an Energy operator.

  • Familiarity with analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement training.

  • Advanced degree or progress toward an MBA.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
