DHH Teacher Dublin, Ohio

An opportunity is available for a part-time Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to support 5th grade students in an elementary school setting. This contract position spans a full semester, starting as soon as possible and concluding by May 22, 2026. The role requires onsite presence with a commitment of approximately 80 minutes per month.

Location: Pickerington, OH
Start Date: ASAP May 22, 2026
Hours: Part-time, onsite (80 minutes monthly)
Caseload: 5th grade students
Duration: Full semester contract

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Educator license with a Hearing Impaired endorsement (license must be current and submitted for consideration)
• Experience working with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in elementary school settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively support students and staff

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of Deaf/Hard of Hearing 5th grade students
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to develop individualized education plans
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed
• Participate in meetings and communicate regularly with families regarding student development
