RX Manager-Logistics Operations

Position Summary :

The RX Manager will plan, organize, direct, control and lead the daily activities of an assigned RX functional area within the distribution center.

Responsibilities include: -Scheduling, forecasting and coordinating work in order to meet production schedules and operational goals.

-Reviewing production, quality, and other operational reports; initiating changes as needed, to ensure a high level of service to store operations. -Develop and implement plans, procedures, programs, and strategies to improve performance, service level, and cost- per-piece.

- Prepare departmental budget and control expenditures against approved budget.

-Administer policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner. -Professionally address issues with employees utilizing the proper resources.

-Develop an accountable supervisory staff with an emphasis on team-building, communication, performance accountability, and positive employee relations management. -Ensure maximum utilization of team members and equipment.

-Promote and reinforce safety and security awareness and compliance among the supervisory staff and hourly employee groups.

-Perform other related duties as assigned by Leadership.

-Comply with all applicable laws relating to the RX department including, but not limited to: DEA regulations, local state and city regulations, and company guidelines.

Required Qualifications :

-3 + years of prior supervisory experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment

-3 + years of demonstrated leadership abilities

Preferred Qualifications :

-Bachelor's Degree -Experience managing RX operations

Education :

Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
