About the role:

The Benefits Advisory Analyst serves as a valuable team member who is comfortable both taking direction and working independently to develop and maintain excellent materials used to support client project work assigned by project managers and process documentation assigned by the Analyst Team Manager. The Benefits Advisory Analyst works collaboratively as a member of our client project teams to create client project materials and document project and process deliverables.
Essential Duties and Functions (include the following; however, other duties may be assigned)

Responsibilities:
• Works collaboratively as part of a project team(s); Creates and updates project management materials under the direction of assigned project manager(s).
• Responds to the needs of the team and client preferences to meet all delivery commitments on time and accurately.
• Actively communicates time availability, constraints and progress on deliverables to project manager(s), engaging the Analyst Team Manager as needed to enhance team communication and ensure all project deliverables are met and that client project expectations are met or exceeded.
• Responsible for documenting discussions during client meetings and sharing with the team.
• Travel to the client site with the project team and/or meet with client via virtual meeting technology at the project manager's request. This may include traveling on Sundays and on rare occasions international travel.
Delivery and Sales Support Team Duties
• Update analyst process documentation and support maintenance of intellectual property (e.g,. templates, market data, sales materials) as requested by Analyst Team Manager.
• Attend regular team meetings, contribute thoughts and ideas to advance the team's goals and productivity.
• Accurate and timely time tracking to align with business objectives and client-metrics. Keeps detailed and accurate track of time spent on project work and other responsibilities daily using our shared tools.
Personal Development
• Keep current and engaged with the advisory and benefits industry by taking advantage of available training and learning resources, actively seeking published documentation as needed and seeking guidance and coaching from leaders as appropriate.

Skills needed:
• Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and presentation skills required.
• Self-directed with positive drive and approach, including the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a virtual working environment.
• Must be detail-oriented, have highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and manage strict deadline and turnaround time requirements.
• Ability to establish credibility at all levels of the organization and with clients through confident communications and actions based on integrity.
• High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, etc.) and high level of comfort using technology as a toolset
• Polished, professional demeanor with a client-first approach to interactions with our clients and other team members.
