Introduction
Our client is a small animal and exotics veterinary hospital that is currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced and collaborative team. The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care to dogs, cats, and exotic species, offering a diverse and engaging caseload. This opportunity is well suited to a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality medicine while working within a supportive and well-equipped clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturdays from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, with the practice closed on Sundays. The role is open to both full-time and part-time veterinarians, with flexibility available to discuss scheduling arrangements that suit individual preferences. This schedule offers structure while supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, the Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for carrying out all typical general practice duties. These include performing comprehensive patient examinations and medical work-ups, conducting diagnostic procedures, carrying out surgical interventions, and managing pharmacy-related responsibilities. The veterinarian will work closely with the clinical team to deliver thorough, compassionate care across a varied caseload. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped with modern facilities and technology to support a high standard of veterinary medicine. The practice is AAHA accredited, reflecting its commitment to excellence in patient care and clinical standards. Services offered include stem cell therapy, routine examinations, in-house laboratory services, internal medicine, and surgical procedures, allowing veterinarians to engage in a broad spectrum of medical and advanced care.

Team
The Associate Veterinarian will join a team of four experienced DVMs who value collaboration and shared clinical decision-making. The veterinary team is supported by a brilliant group of skilled support staff who contribute to a positive, efficient, and team-oriented work environment. This strong support structure allows veterinarians to focus on delivering exceptional patient care while benefiting from teamwork and professional support.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
