Introduction
Our client is a long-established emergency-only veterinary hospital that has been providing high-quality urgent medical and surgical care to cats and dogs since 1995. The practice is dedicated exclusively to emergency medicine, supporting pets when regular veterinary clinics are closed-including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates overnight emergency services during the week from 6:00 pm to 7:30 am, with extended coverage on weekends from 6:00 pm Friday through 7:30 am Monday. The position is open to both full-time and part-time veterinarians, with flexibility available to discuss scheduling preferences and create a sustainable work pattern that suits your lifestyle.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Emergency Veterinarian, you will work in a fast-paced clinical setting offering broad emergency and surgical exposure. You will triage, diagnose, and treat a wide range of small animal emergency cases, including medical and surgical presentations. The average daily caseload is 10-15 patients per doctor, allowing for meaningful case management while maintaining efficiency. This role is best suited to an experienced DVM who is confident practicing emergency medicine and surgery and enjoys delivering decisive, high-quality care in urgent situations.

Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped to support emergency and critical care medicine, with digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory capabilities, a dental suite, and a dedicated surgical suite. Emergency services include internal medicine, radiology, and surgical intervention, enabling comprehensive case management from presentation through treatment.

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)

• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
