Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a well-established small animal veterinary hospital that has proudly served its community since the 1950s and is now seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join the team. The practice focuses on providing high-quality, compassionate care to cats and dogs, with a strong reputation built on decades of trusted service. This opportunity is well suited to veterinarians who value continuity of care, client relationships, and practicing solid, well-rounded general medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., is closed on Tuesdays, and operates Saturday hours from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is a full-time position with a consistent schedule and no mention of after-hours or on-call requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will manage a general practice caseload that includes wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and ongoing case management. You will have the opportunity to work through cases from start to finish, providing thorough care and clear client communication. This role is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians, with mentorship available to support professional development and confidence in clinical decision-making.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped to support modern small animal medicine, including radiology, ultrasound, cautery and suction units, and diagnostic tools. Services offered include wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, tonometry, and more, allowing veterinarians to practice comprehensive, hands-on medicine in a well-supported environment.

Team
You will work alongside one experienced DVM, who currently serves as Medical Director, and a fantastic, dedicated support team. The culture is collaborative and supportive, offering a close-knit working environment where teamwork, mentorship, and high standards of patient care are truly valued.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
