Join Our Team as a Line Cook at Trails Grill & Sports Bar!

Trails Grill & Sports Bar is looking for a talented Line Cook (Part Time to Full Time) to join our family-run business in Big Lake, Minnesota. With over 20 years in business, we offer a welcoming work environment and an employee meal program to keep you fueled throughout your shift.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Ensure proper plate presentation for all dishes
• Utilize various cooking techniques such as pasta, salads, scratch cooking, steaks, seafood, sautéing, and more
• Maintain food quality and portion control throughout the cooking process
• Create soups, sauces, daily specials and other culinary delights

Required Skills:

• Experience with a wide variety of menu dishes and food preparation
• Strong knife skills and experience with meat slicers
• Knowledge of sauce making and soup making
• Passion for maintaining high food quality standards

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with dietary restrictions and special diets
• Knowledge of kitchen procedures and inventory control
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Safe Serv Certification

Salary and Benefits:

• Hourly $18 - $23
