Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience within the past 3 years.
Experience with Epic is required from last 12 months.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
This role will require floating to multiple units
Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
- Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience.
- MS/Tele, Med/Surg, Telemetry, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Endocrine /Metabolic, Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary/Renal, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications, PCA, Neurological/Psychiatric, Orthopedics, Respiratory, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Plastics, Surgical drains, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Teaching Hospital Experience
- Short Stay- 23 hour Stay Unit, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - remote monitoring, IV insulin protocols, Thyroidectomy, Bowel obstruction, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Accessing/Managing Ports, Heparin, Insulin, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Mood disorders, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Substance Withdrawal, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Tracheostomy care/management
Required Credentials: Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.
Unit/Facility Details: Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation if parking onsite
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, Friday - Sunday.
Floating Requirements: Within general care: acute care division
14 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
