Introduction
Our client is a multi-species veterinary practice in Janesville, Minnesota, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their welcoming team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The clinic is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The position is full-time, with standard weekday hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinarian will provide comprehensive care including puppy and kitten care, adult preventive care, wellness services, laser therapy, surgery, dental care, radiology, laboratory diagnostics, ultrasound, OFA certification, and allergy/genetic testing. Surgical responsibilities include soft tissue, elective, caesarian, orthopedic, trauma repair, mass removal, and other procedures. Complex surgeries may involve collaboration with board-certified specialists. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with support for professional growth.

Practice Details
The hospital features modern facilities including a secondary exam room, expanded kennel space, a grooming room, digital radiography, laser therapy, in-house monitoring equipment for surgery, and in-house biochemical and hematology testing with rapid results. The practice uses reference laboratories for more advanced diagnostics. Services offered include preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, dental care, laser therapy, ultrasound, OFA certification, allergy and genetic testing, and both soft tissue and orthopedic surgical care. The culture emphasizes collaboration, quality medicine, and personalized patient care.

Team
The hospital has five DVMs supported by a skilled team of technicians and support staff. The environment is collaborative and supportive, fostering professional growth and high-quality care.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
