Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their general practice in Palo Alto, California. The clinic blends compassionate veterinary care with a strong focus on client education, preventative medicine, and promoting healthy pet lifestyles.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will diagnose and treat diseases and injuries, prescribe medications, perform surgeries, and create treatment plans. The role also involves building strong client communication, educating pet owners about preventive care, and contributing to the hospital's culture of collaboration and continuous learning. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with surgical suites, IDEXX in-house laboratory equipment, and digital radiography. Facilities support a full range of services including diagnostics, wellness care, dental cleanings, surgeries, and behavioral and nutritional counseling. Services also include spays and neuters, end-of-life care, sick visits, vaccinations, and puppy and kitten care. The practice promotes a supportive team culture with an emphasis on professional growth and innovation.

The hospital has a skilled team of veterinarians and support staff working collaboratively to provide consistent, high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
