Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver strategic, operational, and functional performance objectives for the manufacturing unit.
- Develop, coach, and mentor associates to drive production excellence, capability growth, accountability, and ownership.
- Lead and coordinate all manufacturing unit activities while establishing clear priorities and execution plans.
- Develop, manage, and control the manufacturing unit budget and staffing levels.
- Establish, communicate, and drive challenging SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) goals.
- Cascade manufacturing targets to lines, areas, and workstations, ensuring associates understand expectations through documented, measurable individual goals.
- Champion and lead change initiatives to achieve both short-term and long-term SQDC objectives.
- Proactively resolve line-level and unit-level issues while demonstrating servant leadership.
- Build and develop teams in alignment with values and leadership principles.
- Lead the TMS cycle for assigned lines/areas and set daily (24-hour) operational direction.
- Conduct annual performance reviews, maintain active development plans for all associates, and hold regular one-on-one coaching sessions.
- Lead DTM activities, including the development and execution of standardized work processes (e.g., CIL, CL).
- Drive and sustain Excellence initiatives within the manufacturing unit.
- Partner with Logistics to develop production schedules and monitor delivery performance against plan.
- Ensure consistent, timely, and accurate assessments of hourly associates through mentoring and development activities.
- Address associate concerns promptly, collaborating with HR as needed.
- Continuously build personal expertise in operations, people leadership, and Excellence systems.
- Spend more than 50% of working time on the production floor actively overseeing operations.
- Perform additional duties as required to support business needs.
- Ensure full compliance with quality systems, standard operating procedures, and all applicable safety regulations (local, state, federal).
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance as an essential job function.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Industrial Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment (7+ years preferred).
- At least 3 years of people leadership experience (5+ years preferred).
- 3+ years of demonstrated success in a similar leadership role.
- Strong team collaboration and team-building capabilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to think independently
- Sound decision-making skills
- Advanced troubleshooting capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Project management proficiency
- Working knowledge of quality systems
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to develop and manage budgets, including product costs, waste drivers, and standard costing
- Knowledge of logistics and production planning
- Expertise in safety, ergonomics, and risk mitigation
