Maintenance Mechanic

Are you someone who enjoys handson work and thrives when solving mechanical challenges? Join our skilled maintenance team at our Rome, GA plant , where youll play a key role in keeping our production operations running safely and efficiently.

This is an on-site night shift position, working 5pm-5am, Thursday Saturday and every other Wednesday. The starting pay for this position is $29.05 and increases to $30.51 after the first 60 days.

Youll be part of a supportive, highenergy team that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and craftsmanship. In this role, youll gain experience with a wide variety of industrial machinery and have opportunities to expand your technical skills while contributing to meaningful projects across the plant.

A Taste of What Youll Be Doing

• Preventative Maintenance & Repair Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and routine preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment, including industrial ovens.
• Equipment Setup & Changeovers Prepare equipment for production runs, complete changeovers, and respond quickly to machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Safety & Compliance Practices Follow all established safety, health, quality, and company policies to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Were Looking for Someone With

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated understanding of behavior-based safety systems
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, and complete repetitive physical tasks throughout the day, including occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
