Seaview Orthopaedic & Medical Associates is seeking a dedicated Medical Coordinator to join our team in Ocean, NJ. As a leading medical practice with over 40 years of experience, we specialize in a comprehensive range of orthopedic services, including joint replacement, sports medicine, pediatrics, pain management, physical therapy, and acupuncture. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons and doctors who are committed to delivering quality care to patients across Monmouth, Middlesex, and Ocean Counties.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Welcomes patients and visitors in a professional manner.
• Checking In/Out of all patients, Answering of phones
• Responding to Actions, Incoming Documents, Emails, and Voice mail in a timely manner.
• Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information.
• Updating of physician’s schedules three days in advance plus add on’s.
• Obtaining and entry of all patient referrals.
• Obtain revenue by collecting and recording patient copays and account balances.
• Scheduling/Rescheduling of all new and follow up appointments.
• Completion of patient/insurance disability forms.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the patient waiting area.
• Assisting in other areas of the clinical department if needed.
• Process requests for records to outside physicians and patients.
• File laboratory documents, X-rays, Diagnostic reports, and any other information into patient charts.
• Insure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements, Maintain strict confidentiality of all medical records.
• Ability to travel between offices as needed.
• Available for overtime needs.
• Assist with other daily functions within the department, Other duties as assigned by Management

Required Skills:

• Multi-provider scheduling experience.
• Ability to multi-task, Well-organized.
• Knowledge of EMR, (eClinical Works a plus) Microsoft Word and Excel.
