Carpenters Local 427 and Carpenters Local 1306 are seeking skilled Interior Systems Carpenters for ongoing and upcoming projects throughout Nebraska.

Position Overview

Interior Systems Carpenters will perform a wide range of work including metal stud framing, drywall installation, acoustical ceilings, and specialty interior systems on commercial and industrial projects. Candidates must demonstrate craftsmanship, productivity, and a strong commitment to jobsite safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Install metal stud framing, drywall, and shaft wall systems
• Hang, tape, and finish gypsum board
• Install acoustical ceiling systems and specialty ceilings
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and specifications
• Perform accurate layout and maintain quality control
• Follow all safety standards and maintain a clean jobsite

Qualifications

• Journeyman Carpenter status or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in commercial interior systems work
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Strong knowledge of jobsite safety practices
• Reliable transportation and ability to meet project schedules

Preferred Experience

• Prior commercial carpentry experience
• Commercial, healthcare, education, or industrial projects
• Experience with high-production or large-scale interior systems
