Experienced Packaging Mechanic

Pharmaceutical contract packaging and fulfillment company is seeking an experienced Packaging Technician to join their team. Must have 3-5 years of previous hands-on experience and expertise: • 3-5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment preferred. • Performs regular and Preventive maintenance of packaging equipment to eliminate unscheduled downtime. • Performs changeovers with assistance. • Perform all work in accordance with cGMP’s, housekeeping, good safety practices, and environmental regulations. • Perform all work to reflect a personal commitment to quality craftsmanship and job ownership. • Notify Supervisor of mechanical breakdowns that will take twenty (20) minutes or more to repair. • Report health/safety hazards to immediate supervisor or EHS Department and make appropriate repairs. • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager. • Ability to read prints, schematics, and draw basic diagrams to troubleshoot circuitry issues • Knowledge of proper lockout/tagout procedures to maintain a safe environment and comply with EHS regulatory procedures. Hourly Rate: $27-32, depending on experience level and shift hours. Long Term Opportunity- Bilingual: (English & Spanish) a plus Resume Followed by Interview.
