Join Our Team as a Legal Assistant in Las Vegas, NV!

Taxi Management, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional Legal Assistant. We defend personal injury matters related to automobile accidents. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the litigation process.

Expectations:

• Provide legal and administrative support to the General Counsel office and outside counsel.
• Assist in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, discovery (propounding and responding), notices, correspondence, and hearing packets.
• Maintain and organize legal case files with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate legal deadlines, track case timelines for legal counsel, and manage calendars using Outlook.
• Limited research.
• E-file documents using Odyssey and PACER; redact and Bates Stamp evidence as needed.
• Coordinate with experts and provide documentation to same.

Education & Experience:

• Degree or certificate in Legal Studies
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a legal assistant or similar role in a legal or government setting. At least 6 months of litigation support or demonstrated proficiency with Odyssey and PACER e-filing platforms.
• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check ( No misdemeanors or felonies.)
• Must be able to pass a Drug Test ( Zero Tolerance for all drugs.)

Skills:

• Strong understanding of Legal terminology and document formatting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in Odyssey and PACER e-filing
• High level attention to detail and confidentiality
• Strong Time management and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
