Functional Systems Architect

Kforce has a client in New Albany, OH that is seeking an onsite Functional System Architect to support a local team by translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. This role spans application, integration, and data architecture, while ensuring security, resiliency, and supportability across systems. The eFunctional Systems Architect will partner with business units to define processes, deliver high-quality systems, and maintain alignment with enterprise technology standards.

Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and implement system solutions to meet advanced business needs
* Provide functional support for Interconnection Services applications
* Lead projects from requirements through testing and implementation
* Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in collaboration with support teams
* Analyze, document, and optimize business processes and related applications
* Ensure changes align with architectural and functional standards
* Produce technical documentation, procedures, and training materials

REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Math, or Statistics
* 5+ years with a Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of experience with an Associate's degree
* Strong technical decision-making skills; self-directed and dependable
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute to team success
* Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement skills
* Ability to adapt communication style to diverse audiences
* Proficiency with communications technologies (email, voicemail, etc.)

Technical Experience:
* Platform: .NET 10
* Database: MS SQL
* CI/CD: ArgoCD, GitHub Actions
* *Hosting: OpenShift

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
