Production Manager (Bilingual)

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, schedule, and manage production operations to align with demand forecasts, project schedules, and customer expectations. Lead, train, and support production teams-including supervisors, operators, and labor staff-while participating in hiring decisions, conducting performance evaluations, and providing coaching or corrective guidance as needed.
• Work closely with engineering and design teams to interpret technical drawings and ensure all products meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Oversee daily precast concrete manufacturing operations to drive efficiency, consistency, and high product quality. Quickly identify, investigate, and resolve quality concerns, while troubleshooting equipment and process issues and coordinating maintenance or repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed and accurate production records, reports, and documentation for management review and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with logistics and shipping teams to ensure delivery of finished products on time.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing principles and similar methodologies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and control costs. Analyze production data to identify trends, constraints, and improvement opportunities, and implement changes that optimize performance and resource utilization.
• Monitor raw material and component usage, support sustainable manufacturing practices, and minimize waste. Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement by enforcing safety policies, identifying and mitigating workplace hazards, leading safety meetings, and ensuring full compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering or related field preferred
• Relevant certifications (PCI Certified Plant Manager) preferred
• 10+ years of experience in Production or Operations Management within the Precast Concrete or Construction Materials industry
• Strong knowledge of precast concrete production processes, equipment and safety standards
• Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and safety regulations
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production management software
• Valid DL with clear driving record
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints
