Currently, Aurora seeks to hire a full-time Sales Development Manager
Reports To: Vice President Sales and Marketing
Position Summary:
Our growing business is looking for a skilled problem solver to join our team as Sales Development Manager. This individual will be an innovative “outside the box” thinker tasked to sell Aurora’s printable textiles product line. You will join a team of two other Sales Managers reporting to the VP Sales and Marketing responsible for driving results, focusing on both new business growth along with current customer growth and satisfaction. Territory for this Sales Development Manager will be the western half of the US (Mississippi River west) and will travel approximately 50%. Our current management team has diverse backgrounds focused on continuous improvement in all areas of our business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sell full line of Aurora printable textile products.
- Responsible for established sales territory which includes a leadership role in managing existing relationships with major customers and distributors.
- Establish strategic partnerships with direct customers, as well as with distributors, and equipment manufacturers in the printable textiles market segment.
- Utilize prospecting tools and consultative sales approach in identifying new prospective customers while strengthening and expanding sales revenue with existing customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries, ensure customer satisfaction, and enhance client relationships.
- Obtain and prepare 6-month forecast for customer accounts.
- Meet or exceed sales revenue and gross profit targets.
- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of opportunities.
- Generate new prospects and new customers and/or new business.
- Utilize trade shows, textile events, and related associations for networking and identifying new prospects.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher. Business preferred.
- 7 – 10 years related job experience preferably within wide format digital printing business
- Progressive sales experience helpful.
- Knowledge of Aurora’s products and/or textile industry preferred.
- Expert sales negotiating and communication skills.
- Demonstrates advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite of programs.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and time management skills critical.
- ISO 9001/ISO 14001 knowledge helpful
- CRM software (HubSpot) knowledge is helpful.
- Ability to travel 50% on average by car and plane.
- Location based in the Western USA

Aurora offers a host of benefits including competitive compensation consisting of base salary plus commission with total expected earnings range from $120k - $160k, full medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending plan, and 401k plan.
