A healthcare facility in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract opportunity. This role involves working nights in a dynamic imaging environment using advanced Siemens MRI scanners. Qualified candidates will support a broad range of neuro, musculoskeletal, and abdominal imaging procedures, including specialty exams such as breast and enterography scans.

Location: Columbus, OH

Responsibilities:

  • Operate Siemens 1.5T Aera MRI scanners to perform neuro, MSK, abdominal, and specialty imaging exams
  • Manage imaging safely for ICU patients using MRI-compatible ventilators and monitoring equipment
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI scans, including those with pacemakers
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members and maintain accurate electronic medical records within EPIC EMR
  • Participate in scheduled night shifts and be available for call coverage as assigned

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience; strong candidates with 1.5 years and Level I or large hospital experience will be considered
  • Proficiency with Siemens MRI scanners required
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification mandatory
  • BLS certification required
  • Cardiac imaging experience is a significant plus
  • Experience with IV starts is strongly preferred

Schedule/Hours:

  • Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:00 PM 6:30 AM)
  • Every 3rd weekend and assigned holidays
  • Call schedule includes 3 weekday day shifts per month and 1 weekend call every 12 weeks
