A healthcare facility in Westerville, OH is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract position. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology in a fast-paced, specialized environment focused on neuro, musculoskeletal, and abdominal scans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Siemens 1.5T Aera MRI scanners to perform high-quality imaging exams
- Conduct specialty MRI exams including breast, enterography, and scanning pacemaker patients
- Perform imaging on ICU patients using MRI-safe ventilators and monitoring equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and exam accuracy
- Respond to assigned call shifts during weekdays and weekends as scheduled
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience; candidates with 1.5 years and strong large hospital or Level I trauma center experience will be considered
- Proficient with Siemens MRI scanners
- Holds ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Cardiac MRI experience is a significant plus
- IV start experience highly preferred
Shift Details:
- Night shift, 3 shifts of 12 hours each (6:00 PM 6:30 AM)
- Every 3rd weekend and holidays as assigned
- Call coverage includes 3 weekday day shifts per month and 1 weekend every 12 weeks
