Experience:

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Mississippi license or compact license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience at a larger facility with a lot of surgeries/high acuity patients, must be comfortable with lines, chest tubes, hem/Onc.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Chemo experience.

Shift & Scheduling:

Weekend Requirement: every other or 2 weekends per month is standard, could be higher to meet needs of department.
Holiday Requirement: rotate in with regular staff.

Floating Requirements: Within skillset, all staff float between all MedSurg units. Higher acuity patients would be given to core staff.

Other Requirements: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job youre applying to.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission

Drivers license required for submission

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)
