Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Skills: High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Med/Surg, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, Surgical drains.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Skills: Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management, Renal failure, Total joint replacement, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Tracheostomy care/management, Wound Care/Wound Vac.

Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.

Special Requests: All RTO must be submitted at time of submission - no exceptions.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Must work 50% of holidays during contract

Floating Requirements: MS may float to MS/Tele.
