Join our team as a Dental Assistant in Monterey, CA!

Position Details:

• Role: Dental Assistant (DA)
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: Typically Monday - Thursday, based on patient need. Monterey Perio Center follows an Alternative Workweek Schedule (AWS) approved by the State of California , allowing full-time employees to work four days per week, generally up to ten hours per day , with occasional shorter days depending on the practice schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
• Provide exceptional patient care and education
• Take digital X-rays and dental impressions
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling
• Contribute to a team-oriented, patient-first practice

What Were Looking For:

• Excellent patient care & customer service skills
• Strong communication abilities (oral & written)
• Experience in the dental field (new grads welcome to apply!)
• Familiarity with Dentrix (preferred but not requiredtraining provided)
• Front desk experience (a plus for multi-taskers!)
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and detail-driven personality
• Reliable, professional, and organized work ethic
• Bilingual in Spanish (a big plus!)
