San Diego Smile Center is a growing, patient-focused private practice committed to delivering high-quality surgical and restorative care. Were expanding our in-house surgical services and are seeking an experienced Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join us one day per month (Friday or Saturday) to handle wisdom teeth extractions and select complex extractions.

This is a part-time, contract position ideal for an oral surgeon looking for consistent, low-stress supplemental surgical days in a well-run private practice.

You will be supported by a trained clinical team and a fully equipped surgical environment, including PRF technology, patient monitoring equipment, and nitrous oxide .

• Routine and impacted wisdom teeth extractions
• Complex and surgical extractions as indicated
• Use of PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) for enhanced healing
• IV sedation, local anesthesia, and nitrous oxide as appropriate
• Collaboration with restorative dentist for treatment planning and follow-up

• PRF centrifuge and protocols already in place
• Patient monitoring equipment for sedation and surgical safety
• Nitrous oxide available for surgical cases
• Efficient scheduling with cases consolidated into a single surgical day
• Experienced assistants and streamlined workflows

• DDS or DMD with completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency
• California dental license in good standing
• Board certified or board eligible preferred
• Comfortable working independently in a private practice setting
• Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
