Job Description
We are a growing, multi-specialty dental practice seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to primarily support our General Dentist , with the willingness to assist in Pediatrics, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery as needed. This is a great opportunity for an assistant who enjoys variety, learning new skills, and working in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Assist the General Dentist during restorative, preventive, and basic surgical procedures
- Support Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Oral Surgery providers as needed
- Prepare and break down treatment rooms; sterilize instruments
- Take dental x-rays and impressions
- Assist with procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, orthodontic adjustments, and pediatric treatments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Ensure a smooth, positive patient experience
- Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience in General Dentistry required; specialty experience a plus
- X-ray certification (state requirements apply)
- Comfortable working with children and adult patients
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and assist across multiple specialties
- CEREC knowledge
