Periodontist Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing implants.
• Performing cosmetic surgical procedures.
• Performing simple and surgical extraction.
• Diagnosing and treating conditions.
• Developing treatment plans.
• Providing preventative treatment.
• Resolving gum issues such as gum sensitivity.

Periodontist Requirements and Qualifications:

• Doctor of dental surgery or Doctor of medical practice
• License to practice as a periodontist
• 5 + years experience
• Having your own Dental Assistant is a plus
• Leadership skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
