Our client, a leading organization in the chemical manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Production Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Production Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Operations Department supporting process optimization and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a passion for continuous improvement, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range:

What's the Job?

  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.
  • Provide technical support to troubleshoot equipment issues, enhance processes, and optimize process controls (DCS).
  • Lead or assist in incident investigations and near-miss analyses to mitigate risks and improve safety protocols.
  • Develop project scopes and process engineering packages for new installations and facility retrofits.
  • Collaborate with Quality teams on chemistry-related issues and method formulation improvements.

What's Needed?

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with batch, semi-batch, and continuous processing and controls.
  • Strong understanding of fluid transport, heat transfer, filtration, and reaction kinetics.
  • High level of initiative, energy, and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to develop and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA).
