Job Description

We are looking for a High-Speed Stamping Press Operator to perform critical operations in our manufacturing process. This position will be Full-Time onsite
Work schedule: 1st Shift Mon to Fri 7am-3pm , with OT on weekends as needed

What Youll Do

  • Operate high-speed stamping press assembly reels (plastic and cardboard), including making minor adjustments to auxiliary equipment such as strip welders and vision system(s)

  • Perform quality checks per the Quality Inspection Process (QIP), including visual checks with a microscope

  • Take specified measurements per print at required intervals using tools such as comparators, ram optics, toolmakers scopes, and gauges

  • Retrieve completed components and load empty reels from the staging area

  • Order raw metal and change stock as needed

  • Make minor press adjustments to the system as required, including machinery lubrication, air pressure, and ram height

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Ability to acquire basic job skills and learn company policies and procedures (no prior relevant training or work experience required)

  • Basic understanding of machinery operation and willingness to learn minor equipment adjustments

  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards

  • Familiarity with measuring tools such as comparators, toolmakers scopes, and gauges

  • Experience performing quality inspections using microscopes or similar tools

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on machinery and work with tools and equipment for extended periods

  • Must be able to lift and move materials as part of the job

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the workspace

$15.00 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
