Overview

We are seeking a Practice Integration Specialist-Acquisitions to join the Practice Integration Team at a growing, technology-focused Dental Services Organization (DSO) experiencing exciting direct-to-consumer, de novo, and acquisition growth.

This role is primarily responsible for the onboarding, engagement, assessment, training, and ongoing support of team members at newly acquired clinics as they transition into the Sage Dental family. Success in this position requires a combination of technical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of dental industry operations and best practices.

The ideal candidate brings strong operational and clinical knowledge, proven project management capabilities, and the ability to lead and support change in a fast-paced, acquisition-driven environment. This individual must be highly organized, possess exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, and feel confident facilitating both one-on-one and group training sessions.

Position requires up to 90% travel time, including Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and surrounding states. Travel is non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

· Actively participate in the setup and operational launch of new clinics.

· Conduct comprehensive practice assessments for newly acquired clinics to evaluate operational, clinical, and training needs.

· Lead onboarding and integration plans aligned with organizational standards.

· Deliver training on PMS and related technology platforms.

· Support adoption of organizational processes, systems, and workflows.

· Support implementation and transition of practice management systems, imaging platforms, operational and clinical workflows.

· Maintain an up-to-date directory and inventory of training materials, ensuring resources are accurate and current, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed.

· Document workflows, integration activities, and best practices.

· Provide on-site and remote support throughout the assignment, during the turnover period & grand opening, pre- & post-close through systems conversion, practice stabilization, and hand-off to the Director of Market Operations.

· Manage multiple integrations simultaneously with competing timelines and priorities.

· Track milestones, dependencies, and deliverables using project management tools.

· Manage change effectively while balancing standardization with practice culture and autonomy.

· Facilitate integration meetings, alignment calls, and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.

· Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with a wide range of individuals, maintaining a positive demeanor, particularly in challenging situations.

· Travel to assigned locations, including overnight stays, as required.

· Assist with additional projects and initiatives needed to support the organization's growth and development.

Qualifications

· Associate's degree or relevant certification, with dental-related experience preferred.

· Strong operational and clinical experience within a dental office, four years + preferred

· Proficiency in practice management systems (e.g., Dentrix, Denticon, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, )

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in all aspects of work.

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.

· Change management: Understand the importance of creating rapport with team members undergoing change and assisting them in feeling at ease for their upcoming PMS conversion.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Quick learner of new software and technology.

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.

· Ability to use time productively and contribute to high levels of company operational efficiency and effectiveness.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

· Passion for training others.

· Conflict resolution skills. A skilled specialist should be able to mediate and resolve conflicts effectively, ensuring a smooth and positive transition.
