Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

No current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - Centra Health.

Additional Details:

Required certifications and licensure cannot expire within 30 days of the potential start date to apply.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prior charge RN experience is preferred, but professional must be open to take charge when needed as this small unit.

Unit/Facility Details: Centra is a teaching hospital, and will work and encounter students and new hires often. We expect all team members, including travelers, to contribute to a culture of support, particularly when interacting with students and new hires.

Special Requests: All RTO must be submitted and approved prior to acceptance.

Shift & Scheduling: Expected occasional weekend shifts per month per unit need. There are holiday requirements with this position.

Floating Requirements: Travelers float 1st.

7 days maximum time off

2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
