Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Connecticut license or compact license (required after submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years required for submission (within specialty submitting to) We will still sub 1.5 Yrs if Level I or travel exp. Skills: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Pediatric Step Down, NG tube insertion/ management, Post acute abdominal surgery, Extremity Fracture/Cast, Management of Chest Tubes, Ostomy, Cleft-lip.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience. Skills: Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care.

Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: $125/month.

Special Requests: If traveler has any vacation plans during the period between sign date and start date, this must be communicated to the AM at the time of submission to ensure a realistic start date may be requested.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Req: Every other.

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear Yes or No response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
