Emergency Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a privately owned hospital providing both General Practice and Emergency services and is currently hiring an Emergency Veterinarian. The hospital sees small animal cases, and while an interest in exotics, avian, or pocket pets is welcome, it is not required.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open 24 hours as it provides both General Practice and Emergency services. The schedule is very flexible to suit the needs of the veterinarian, with day, swing, and night shifts all available. Both full-time and part-time candidates are welcome to apply.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role includes all clinical responsibilities associated with an Emergency veterinarian. Both new graduates and experienced veterinarians are welcome and supported in this position.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with an ultrasound machine, cold laser, digital x-rays, digital dental x-rays, laparoscopy, a CT machine, in-house laboratories, and electronic medical records.

Team
The team consists of six DVMs supported by a well-tenured support staff, with at least a 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, creating a collaborative and well-supported working environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
