CAD Drafter

Engineering firm in Akron, OH is looking to add an AutoCAD drafter to the team. In this role, you will be a key contributor transforming initial sketches into precise technical drawings. You will work closely with senior engineers to ensure every project meets the highest industry standards of accuracy and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical professional looking to sharpen their design skills and gain exposure to diverse engineering projects. Please note this is an onsite role.

responsibilities:

• Technical Drafting: Create and update detailed engineering drawings for basic components from initial design layouts.
  
  
• Standard Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to ANSI and client-specific drafting protocols.
  
  
• Design Support: Contribute to the full lifecycle of project documentation and design execution.
  
  
• Digital Tools: Utilize industry-standard drafting software to produce accurate technical outputs.
  
  
• Adaptive Problem Solving: Support management with diverse technical tasks and special projects as needed.
