Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support indoor sales operations. This role involves direct customer interaction, order processing, sales support, and claim resolution, with growth potential and an hourly increase upon conversion to a permanent position.

The CSR will handle customer inquiries via phone and email, provide accurate product information, resolve issues professionally, and build strong customer relationships. Responsibilities include assessing customer needs, selecting appropriate products, interpreting customer drawings, preparing and sending estimates, invoices, payment instructions, and ETA notifications, and processing orders using QuickBooks or Kunlu. The role also requires providing delivery reports to the warehouse one to two days in advance and ensuring payment is collected prior to delivery.

Sales support duties include assisting with opening new accounts, supporting sample orders, following up on estimates and proposals, coordinating communication with the Sales team, upselling lighting packages and accessories, and helping maintain an organized showroom.

The position also involves reviewing and investigating customer claims, preparing documentation for approval, and processing replacement orders or credit memos in compliance with company guidelines, including applicable shipping fees.

Additional responsibilities include staying informed on industry trends, providing customer feedback to management, assisting with events and promotions, supporting team members, and performing other assigned duties. Candidates should have prior customer service or indoor sales experience, strong communication and organizational skills, experience with order processing systems such as QuickBooks or similar, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a professional, customer-focused mindset.
