What You Will Do:

This role is an inhouse strategic recruiting position where you'll partner directly with internal leaders, HR, Marketing & Communications, and hiring managers to Secure the Right Talent across the civil, geotechnical, and environmental consulting landscape. As a trusted advisor, you'll own full-cycle recruitment, build diverse pipelines, and deliver exceptional candidate experience while driving process improvements. You'll thrive in a hybrid working environment and play a critical role in shaping the workforce across the AEC industry.

  • Strategic, FullCycle AEC Recruiting: Lead fullcycle hiring for technical, field, corporate, and leadership roles across civil, geotechnical, environmental, geological, project management, and CMT disciplines while advising on market conditions, shaping job requirements, and managing a diverse requisition portfolio.
  • Proactive Sourcing & Pipeline Development: Build and maintain strong talent pipelines using multichannel sourcing (LinkedIn Recruiter, passive outreach, referrals, industry associations, universities, and CRM/ATS tools) and develop creative strategies for hardtofill technical roles.
  • Hiring Manager Partnership & Communication: Serve as a consultative partner to hiring managers, providing coaching on interviewing, selection best practices, candidate experience, and overall hiring strategy.
  • Compliance & ATS Excellence: Ensure accurate, compliant documentation and candidate dispositioning aligned with OFCCP and federal contractor requirements while supporting AA/EEO reporting and audit preparedness.
  • Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement: Maintain disciplined recruiting workflows, identify opportunities for process optimization, and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes.

Who We're Looking For:

We are looking for a trusted partner who combines strategic thinking with relationship-building skills. Candidates should bring direct, handson experience supporting civil, geotechnical, environmental, or related engineering/consulting roles. Comfort recruiting across all experience levels: interns, early career, midlevel, senior SMEs, and leadership. As well as having a consultative mindset that guides hiring managers strategically while maintaining strong process discipline through effective ATS management, accurate documentation, and compliant practices in a federalcontractor environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma; an Associate's degree or higher is a plus

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of inhouse or corporate recruiting experience (embedded within a company)

  • Experience supporting engineering, geotechnical, environmental, construction, or technical consulting roles strongly preferred

  • Experience in a federal contractor, OFCCPregulated, or compliancedriven environment, a plus

  • Key Competencies:

  • Demonstrated success in recruiting for multiple technical disciplines and experience levels

  • Proficiency in sourcing methods such as LinkedIn Recruiter, passive outreach, CRM/ATS pipelines, and industry networking

  • Strong communication, relationshipbuilding, and stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities
