Welder

Welder Responsibilities:

• Majority of time will be MIG welding, TIG welding ability is a plus
• Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining aluminum/steel metals to specifications.
• Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage.
• Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately.
• Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools.
• Determining correct gas ratios.
• Testing the strength of each weld during and after project completion.
• Diagnosing issues and troubleshooting as required.
• Liaising with the supervisor, reporting any issues, and making suggestions for improvement.

Welder Requirements:

• High School diploma or similar
• Have at least 3-5 years experience in a welding position .
• Excellent stamina, strength, and dexterity.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Sound understanding of welding safety.
• Willingness to be welding certified through the company.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
