Part-Time

PURPOSE: Assistant Chef with dish preparation. We are looking for a detail-oriented Expeditor to coordinate between the kitchen and front-of-house teams. You ensure orders are accurate, complete and delivered promptly to guests. Also responsible for cleaning dishes and equipment.

HOURS: • Up to 30 hours per week, weekends required, split shift. • Overtime is not expected. • May be required to work Holidays and evenings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Possess valid food handlers license. • Has a passion for culinary experiences and commitment to teamwork and a fun work environment. • Experience working in a casual dining atmosphere preferred. • A willingness to learn and openness to feedback, coaching and mentorship. • Ability to work in team-oriented, fast-paced environment. • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guests in a clear, professional manner, which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment. • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English in a manner sufficient to carry out the duties of this position. • This position requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the work shift. Must be able to lift, stack, and maneuver objects between 50 pounds.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: • Communicate clearly with kitchen and service staff to manage order flow. • Assist with food preparation. • Check orders for accuracy and presentation before they leave the kitchen. • Prioritize and organize orders to maintain smooth service. • Support the team by troubleshooting issues quickly. • Informs management of any problems as they occur. • Collaborates with servers in a friendly professional manner. • Keeps the kitchen organized, at all times. • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expo area. • Cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment. • Stocks plates, glasses, pots, utensils after cleaning and air drying. • Removes all trash. • Assist kitchen in any area, as needed, Performs other duties as assigned by management.

BENEFITS: • Sick time according to Washington State law. • (6) Holidays per year paid at time and a half if the employee works on the holiday.
